X Series Refined Cotton

Tight-window refined cotton for demanding specialty routes

X Series refined cotton is produced for derivative reactions where tight viscosity and purity windows decide batch-to-batch kinetics. Process controls are tightened at every stage, and every batch ships with its own certificate of analysis.

Product Overview

Specialty-process grades with tight viscosity and purity windows

X Series is our specialty-process refined cotton range, made from Xinjiang cotton linters with tightened process controls for viscosity and purity. Demanding derivative reactions depend on uniform batch-to-batch kinetics — X grades are produced to tighter windows so those reactions run the same way run after run. Process parameters are logged every shift, and every batch ships with its own certificate of analysis.

  • ✓Tight spec windows — viscosity and purity controlled for uniform reaction kinetics
  • ✓Batch-to-batch consistency — process parameters logged every shift
  • ✓COA per batch — α-cellulose, viscosity, ash, iron, whiteness and moisture reported
  • ✓Custom grade matching — send your target viscosity or current TDS and our lab matches it

Applications

Where these grades go to work

Recommended tiers below are starting points — final grade selection depends on your target solution viscosity and process.

Nitrocellulose — coatings, inks & films

Nitrocellulose production calls for tightly controlled viscosity and purity to keep reaction behavior batch-consistent.

FAQ

X Series — frequently asked questions

Quick answers on grades, documents and sampling. The full FAQ library lives in Resources.

Can you match a target viscosity or an existing grade?

Yes. Send us the viscosity window you need, or a TDS from your current supplier, and our lab will identify the closest X series grade. The match is confirmed with a pre-shipment sample and its batch COA before you commit to a volume order.

Is a TDS available before we place an order?

Yes. The X series TDS is issued on request with your inquiry, and the SDS is publicly available per regulatory requirements. A sample COA is also available so you can see exactly which parameters are reported batch by batch before you order.

How do samples and trials work?

After we agree on a candidate grade, sample bales are shipped with the matching batch COA so your trial results stay fully traceable. Tell us your application, estimated quantity and destination port, and our export team will handle sample logistics and documentation.
